FERC Public Meetings

On Friday, September 16, 2016, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) project. This DEIS comes after more than two years of project planning and development, and takes into account the civil and environmental survey data that has been collected, as well as the comments, considerations, and concerns of landowners, community members, government agencies, and local elected officials along the proposed route.

The DEIS public comment period will run through December 22, 2016, and will include a series of public sessions. The dates, times, and locations of the sessions are listed below. Those unable to attend one of the scheduled sessions may file electronic comments using the FERC’s e-filing system at www.ferc.gov (docket number CP16-10-000).
